Here at Glacier Media, our internal agency ecosystem is made up of 150+ folks.

It’s time for another edition of Team GMD Q&A! It’s kind of like Vogue’s 73 Questions. Instead, it’s in blog form and there are less than 10 questions – because you’re busy and we respect your time.

This week we speak to Mona, one of the newest Digital Coordinators to join the team. Mona comes from Rasht, in northern Iran and has a bachelor of English Translation and an MBA. She has an impressive background working as a Translator, English teacher, Team Lead Manager, and Marketing Director, and recently completed an internship in MNU digital in the USA.

Your GMD title: Digital Coordinator

In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis:

I started my job as a digital coordinator in GMD in April 2021. As a digital coordinator, I am responsible for monitoring the projects, creating the project assets, generating reports, and presentation audits. All in all, enabling sales by providing excellent support to digital marketing managers and sales reps.

Personal kryptonite:

Decoration stuff, and everything related to art.

Hidden talent:

I am a good artist, especially in drawing (without attending any classes), and cooking.

Hobbies:

Reading books, listening to music, watching movies, running and biking, and playing football with my son. I love to travel and visit different places near or far, no matter where. Last but not least is hiking.

What are you currently listening to?

The two songs that I like to listen to whenever I get a chance are Dance Monkey and Bella Ciao. The Persian songs are really a lot. One that I can name is Rana, a classic song from my home city.

What are you currently reading?

I am reading The Game of Life and How to Play it by Florence Scovel Shinn again. I never get tired of reading it and recommend everyone to read this book at least once in their life.

If you had to give a TED talk, what would it be about?

I think it would be about humanity and being kind to each other.

First thing you’re going to do once we’re all vaccinated?

I am planning to visit my family in Iran or invite them to come here.
