Dieter Rams: Ten Principles of Good Design – Tyler

This book dives into legendary industrial designer Dieter Rams’ 10 principles of good design through the lens of his own work. It offers a fairly comprehensive look at Rams’ career designing products for Braun and Vitsoe where he helped to shape the language of design. Alternatively, if you are feeling extra flush this year the comprehensive Less and More: The Design Ethos of Dieter Rams is a great gift for the design lover in your life.

 

Snowshoe at Vancouver’s North Pole – Helen

This starts atop the skyride at the Peak of Christmas on Grouse Mountain, where there’s Santa’s workshop, light walk and a real reindeer habitat. It traverses through Munday Alpine Snowshoe Park and the snowshoe grind. Private snowshoe fondue or fitness snowshoe tours are available for fun with friends and family. If you’re feeling more adventurous, there’s Thunderbird Ridge for an out and back day on the trails.

 

Akira 35th Anniversary Box Set – Troy
