Here at Glacier Media, our internal agency ecosystem is made up of 150+ folks.

It’s starting to feel spooky at GMD HQ with Halloween around the corner, and its time for another edition of Team GMD Q&A. It’s kind of like Vogue’s 73 Questions. Instead, it’s in blog form and there are less than 10 questions – because you’re busy and we respect your time.

This week on Team GMD we are featuring Shana Gill, our Content Specialist. Shana helps businesses tell their story to the world, and can always be counted on for great music recommendations. Read on to learn how she balances her workload, and where to find the best dogs in the neighbourhood at lunchtime.

In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis:

As a Content Specialist, I work in Sponsored Media for all the local news publications as well as Social Media here at GMD. I coordinate and manage projects between writers, designers, managers and clients to produce and deliver content that will elevate their brand image. Each day is a little different for me, just the way I like it.

Expertise:

Working well (or in some cases better) under pressure. Oh, and falling on flat surfaces.

Hidden talent:

Being able to turn any situation into a suitably good time.

Personal kryptonite:

Small venue concerts (and bread, allllll the bread)

When are you most inspired:

I would say it is definitely when I get to know someone new. I love learning about the paths people have taken to get to where they are. Ah, that’s the stuff that keeps me goin’.

Lists. Lists. LISTS!

One tip for managing multiple projects:

Making a worksheet of all the projects I am a part of with a coloured legend to indicate which deadlines are approaching. It is the best way to keep track of and manage my tasks for each day.

Side-hustle:

I don’t have a side-hustle per se, but I love volunteering in the community for many different causes.
