Video doesn’t always have to be expensive. If you’re looking for a cost-friendly option, you’re in luck. There are many cost-friendly options for video.

Keep It Short
Nowadays, peoples’ attention spans are shorter than ever. Not many people have the patience to sit through a lengthy video packed with copious amounts of information. Why not break that one 5 minute long video you had in mind down to ten 30 second videos instead? Keep it short, “hook” the viewer within the first few seconds of the video, and get straight to the point.

Figure out what the ideal video length is for your platform – here’s what Hubspot recommends:

  • Instagram: 30 seconds
  • Twitter: 45 seconds
  • Facebook: 1 minute
  • YouTube: 2 minutes

Use Photos Instead of Video Footage
Videos can also be made using photo, by animating image assets paired with motion graphics and on-screen text or a voiceover. This technique is more inexpensive and post-production takes a fraction of the amount of time, compared to the traditional video production process. See examples below for BC Highlight Electric and Arodal Services.

Repurpose Existing Footage or Photo Assets
You can save on costs by eliminating the need for a video shoot. We can repurpose your existing footage assets and create a fresh edit with motion graphics and voiceover. See examples below we did for The Friendly Landlord Network and Green Inspiration.
