Windsor Plywood Burnaby specializes in providing hard-to-source interior and exterior home finishing products including flooring, doors, mouldings and especially wood products. They carry high quality, responsibly sourced products for homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, renovators, builders, designers, craftsmen, and contractors. Windsor Plywood Burnaby wanted to run a digital campaign to drive people in and around Burnaby to view and download a monthly flyer featuring the products of the month.

The challenge the business faced was to reach an audience interested in their products and being able to showcase the monthly flyer with frequent changes in selection and in-stock availabilities.

Glacier Media Digital proposed a dedicated landing page with a PDF flyer embedded and updated
regularly, running matching ads to drive people to the landing page.
Utilizing Glacier Media’s local news audience network and data, we applied first-party audience targeting to show ads to home improvement and home and garden audiences. We ran community display ads in premium and persistent mobile units to these audience segments, geo-targeting to Burnaby and New West. The campaign also featured monthly ads in our e-newsletters served to loyal readers of The Burnaby Now and The New West Record.

The results were phenomenal! On Glacier Media’s local news network, with 483k impressions
delivered, we garnered 2,526 clicks reaching a click through rate of 0.52%–a CTR 6.5 times higher than the average.
