Here at Glacier Media, our internal agency ecosystem is made up of 150+ folks.

It’s time for another edition of Team GMD Q&A. It’s kind of like Vogue’s 73 Questions. Instead, it’s in blog form and there are just about 10 questions—because you’re busy and we respect your time.

This week on team GMD we are introducing Claudia Foong, our Social Media Specialist.

We are excited to welcome Claudia, our social team member, who brings a wealth of skills, fresh perspectives, and her passion for social media. Claudia grew up in Malaysia and moved to London (UK) for the final year of her BA in Film and MA in Creative Writing. She has spent 3+ years working at digital agencies and another 3 years at a startup documentary streaming service as a copywriter, writing copy for web, apps, and social media. Claudia is ready to embark on a new journey and we can’t wait to see the valuable contributions she will make to our team. Read on to learn more about Claudia!

In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis:
As a Social Media Specialist, I ideate and create organic social media content for our clients (as well as GMD Social!). On a daily basis, I write and edit captions tailored to a wide variety of clients and target audiences, scour stock image websites, and have the occasional existential crisis.

BETA5 cream puffs.

Hidden talent:
Babysitting and making spreadsheets, my brain just goes into autopilot mode.

Video games and board games, with the odd paddle or snowboard session according to season.

A cause/causes you are passionate about:
Animal welfare. I have a dog that I adopted and moved to Canada with, and after her time I would like to adopt an old dog that nobody wants.

Describe yourself in three words.
Loyal, awkward, resourceful

Financial literacy, more specifically investing

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
