The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and the B.C. Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) work to disseminate information supporting harm reduction and healing from substance-use related harms. Working together, they are facilitating meaningful conversations around addiction and the long-term effects of Canadian residential schools on Indigenous communities.

In order to help communicate their message, the GMD team has been developing an expanded visual identity system for FNHA and BCCSU’s communication programs. This system will incorporate existing brand elements, as well as create new ones that can be used across multiple communication touchpoints. This included an educational video and an infographic timeline: “Settler Colonialism and Indigenous Strengths and Resiliency.”

We’re also honoured to have the opportunity to collaborate with some talented Indigenous artists along the way.

We are proud of our collaboration with FNHA and BCCSU, and we look forward to seeing how the expanded visual identity system and educational video will benefit their communication efforts in the long run.
