This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our Creative Services Project Manager, Liv Doogue.

Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, Liv carries a background in managing social enterprises and non-profits. Before her move to Vancouver, she worked as a General Manager for a social enterprise coffee company and freelanced as a Social Content Creator for sustainable fashion brands.

When she’s not busy wrangling assets together and overseeing fast-paced creative campaigns, you can find Liv learning to play piano, blogging about sustainable fashion and admiring and creating art of all forms.

Your GMD title: Creative Services Project Manager

In a short paragraph, tell us a little bit about your role at GMD. What do you do on a daily basis:
I oversee websites, landing pages, video and photography and other creative projects from the quoting stage through to deployment. I work closely with the design and dev teams, DCs and reps to ensure deliverables are being met and projects are on track, within scope, and delivered on time.

Personal kryptonite:
Pistachios and baby animals. 

Hidden talent:
Parallel parking.

Hobbies:
All kinds of music, playing guitar, learning piano, photography, drawing, pottery, nature walks, good movies and bad movies.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Trust your gut.

Name one song you never get sick of hearing:

Dance Yrself Clean – LCD Soundsystem.

Favourite coffee spot in Vancouver:

Nemesis at the Polygon Gallery. Their coffee and pastries are ridiculously good.

Hacks.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be?

My Mum, Dad and Sister. They are back home in NZ, I miss them a lot.
