Here at Glacier Media, our internal agency ecosystem is made up of 150+ folks.

Another week, another Team GMD Q&A. It’s kind of like Vogue’s 73 Questions. Instead, it’s in blog form and there are less than 10 questions – because you’re busy and we respect your time.

This week on Team GMD, we shine the light on me. I am your editor behind all the community profiles. I would like to thank my parents, peers and colleagues who have supported me throughout my career. At Glacier, I am given the flexibility to explore different fields of digital marketing.  From managing Social Media projects to creating Google and Facebook Ads, I have gained valuable experiences and I am eager to learn more. Bread and rocks. What? Read on to know what I am talking about.

Expertise: Paid Search, Social Ads & Social Media

Hidden talent: I climb things

Personal kryptonite: A good loaf of bread

Two truths one lie:

  1. I ski halfpipe
  2. I’m riding the Gran Fondo next year
  3. I lipsynced to Pour Some Sugar On Me while getting sugar poured on me

What do you do when you’re not working: Running or climbing to deplete my excess energy

Office habit: I stretch all the time & take one-second-everyday video of Kate

Causes you are passionate about: Climate & health issues

Favourite part of your job: I like learning about different businesses and industries as I research for Google and Facebook ads.

Favourite ice cream flavour: Toasted Coconut from Earnest Ice Cream

What do you usually do after work: Go straight to my climbing gym/ Squamish on a good day

Favourite quote: “Nothing in life is as important as you think it is while you are thinking about it.” – Daniel Kahneman

What’s your favourite prank to play on an unsuspecting victim at the office? The prank would be subject dependent. It should be harmless yet funny. So probably a whoopee cushion or switching all their pen cartridges.

Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer? Hunter. I love a challenge and problem-solving. I take actions. Ie. If I crave fish and chips, I will bike to Granville Island to get it at lunch.

What’s your favourite thing about working within the Glacier ecosystem? Working with my team. Everyone is very talented and offers different support and ideas.

What’s your ideal number of dogs and why? Four. I have four limbs to pet four dogs simultaneously.
